Inline Six Valve Cover hold down tabs & bolts

A few of mine are broken and I'm looking for a complete full set of the tabs & bolts that are one piece. Does anyone know of any sites that may sell these? So far I can only find the complete engine bolt kits that only come with the bolts.

The other reason I'm trying to find these is oil is leaking through the valve cover where I just have bolts.

Thanks in advance guys!

Maybe some of the 6-banger guys will chime in on your quest.
Also, you might want to try our board vendors as these guys are
really savy on our trucks needs.
Good Luck! ET

Re: Inline Six Valve Cover hold down tabs & bolts

I've been hunting craigslist for folks with a straight six. Most of them want to sell the engines complete. Trying to get one of them to mail me the tabs on faith and me pay them. Big risk on CL but I need them but so far no luck, good news is I found a cool carb for the straight six with a complete choke setup.

For some reason these things seem impossible to find, the cheap chrome ones at the auto parts stores dont fit right.

Did you try the dealer? Sometimes they surpise and have the parts or replacements that will work.

I bought some for mine a few years back but don't remember where I got them. It may have been in the miscellaneous parts aisle at Auto Zone or O'reilly.
