Complete Rear Drum Brake setup - 1971 - New Shoes

I have a complete 1971 rear drum brake set-up I need to get rid of. It was rebuilt with new shoes just before I removed them for a disc brake upgrade.

Priced to move.... $35

I would prefer not to ship, but will at buyers expense.

Thanks

How much for the drums to 95240? 5 lug right? I think they will fit in flat rate boxes?

I'll check, but they are heavy as you know. I don't expect it to be cheap.

Will let you know... probably will be tomorrow.

thanks

Price should be about $15 a box in a large flat rate USPS box, check that first. Thank you.

Re: Complete Rear Drum Brake setup - 1971 - New Shoes

Largest flat rate box I can find is 12.5 x 12.5 x 6.... The drum diameter is 13.5 x 3.5. Don't think the flat rate box will work. Got any other ideas? Do you need the drums?

P.S. I also have a set of front calipers if you need them.

That's ok on the drums. Thanks for trying. I can get new drums for about $32 a piece.

Re: Complete Rear Drum Brake setup - 1971 - New Shoes

Shawno72,

I took the boxes to USPS, UPS, and Fedex this morning o determine the cheapest way to ship these to you. The boxes are roughly 14x14x6 and the cheapest shipping I could find was $39.25 per box (2 boxes).

Each box includes drum, backing plates, shoes, e-brake cable, and front caliper and pads.

I could get them to you shipped for $108.50 if you want them

that breaks down to $39.25 (shipping)+ $39.25 (shipping)+ $30 (Parts)

Let me know... I will be happy to try to find a cheaper means of shipping, but I think the proces are going to be about the same... these things are pretty heavy.

Thanks
