I think I might shim the trans mount up about 1/4" and re-measure.
Just something to consider, when you accelerate the pinion will rotate down. .. so your 4* up is okayy .. but it will quickly go to 1-2* or so as you pull away from the stop lights. If I am thinking correctly, if you shim the trans mount up just a hair wouldn't that put them close to equal but not zero'ed out ? Just to add something else for you.. read through this kit writeup. It will make it all make more sense (it did for me) I know this is S10 stuff, but I promise I used this kit on my 96 S10 ext cab it has ZERO vibration in it anywhere.
