How do I check differential oil level in 1964 c10

I have a 1964 c10 - Not sure how to check the gear oil in my differential??

there is a pipe plug on the r/h side should be level with the hole

Might have to clean it off to find it. Make sure the vent is also clear. (behind flexible brake line in pic.)
