Need Engine Bad

I have a 90 1500 with a 4.3 6cyl 5speed and the engine blew. I was told to put a 350 in and was wondering if anyone has a good used one up for grabs. Also will the same tranny work or will i have to change that to if I go with the 350. Thanks in advance.

I have a 305 HO short block(It ran when taken out of trans-am)It is a standard shift engine, that should be freshened up,bores are real nice, just put in rings and bearings and it will be fine(clean-up and hone the bores easy for the ring brake in)I can sell it for $100.you only live 4 hrs from me.this should be picked up.
If you go another route becareful of what you buy.you can't put a stick flywheel on an automatic trany engine steve
