Good Power train Combo??

With the help of the great forum members here I have been able to identify the parts and pieces that the drive train for the 1956 3100 I have been working on consist of. I was wondering what you guys think of for its performance and efficiency outlook.

Engine - CID (1967 impala 275HP Factory rating /600 Edlebrock cab / Edlebrock torker intake / HEI / Ram heads exaust / camel back heads

Transmission - TH350C (79-84 Chevy)

Rear end - 3.08 GR 10 bolt (71 Chevelle)

The tires will be 235 70 R15. I believe that is a 27.9" tall tire

The transmition gears are 2.52, 1.52, 1

I think at 65mph the truck would be spinning 2491RPM's

It's great but uses a bit more fuel than modern setups due to no overdrive. It's a bit more work and money but 700R4s or 200's have overdrive and a bit deeper first gear. Mine moved me from12 MPG to 15 MPG. I know it's a small change number wise but it is an increase of 25%. The engine also works less....?
