Fire wall code?

I'm sure the righting on the firewall was used on the assembly line but was curious if any one knew how to decode them

CE25934, that's the model number, T2 is probably two tone, white cap over blue. Can't see the other markings but they are probably option codes or the job number.

Awesome. I've always assumed they were just for easy assembly along the assembly line good to have some verification

Scott, That's right. They let the people down the line see what they needed to get ready to put on at a glance. The build sheet was the definitive answer, the grease marks just helped. Sometimes they wrote notes to each other and even used that area to figure out lunch bills. Some firewalls have the painters initials written in the paint. You can find those marks all over the truck, but most are found on the firewall. The job number was often written on the trans hump part of the firewall. Clean that area carefully and see if you can find it. (3 digits)
