dash black out ?? any experience?
Well I thought I knew a lot about these ttruck dahes , and i do , but I never had one go nearly black on me . the gauge lights went out and the high beam indicators came on along with the FASTEN SEAT BELTS light. I am aimimg towards a bad headlight switch on this one. Fuel gauge(replaced with known good one) has been very tempermental also, but I think that is a seperate issue. thanx, DAVE.

It's a ground somewhere on the printed circuit. Mine did that a while back and pulled it out and where the plug goes, some of the little tabs on the printed circuit were not where they were supposed to be. Check this first and if that is not it, I don't know.

I had this cluster out already and the circuit is nice . I also reached underneath and wiggled the main plug.
I will check the connections at the main ground 'spider' that is bolted to the cab above the E-brake. thanx , DAVE
