Price check please

I am more of a square body guy but I ran across this 2wd blazer on craigslist tonight. Just curious if it would be considered a good deal or not? Looks like it needs a ton of work and wouldnt mind picking it up for a very long term project or would it be better to pick up a nice 4wd and convert it. thanks

Re: Price check please

That's a tough one. It all depends on how much other rust is there that isn't shown in the pics. Like the floors and especially the windshield frame and rocker boxes. Most of the patch panels are available or could be made. Also is the top and hatch good? The hatch could be worth a couple hundred by itself. Looks like most of the interior is there. Buckets are worth a couple hundred.

One thing about them is you don't find them everyday. Especially a 2wd GMC. If everything I mentioned is good, and it has a clear title, then I would probably give $1500 if I wanted one. I would maybe try to get it for $1000.

Re: Price check please

nothing about it says $1500 to me.

scam add maybe, find a fool who would pay $1500 for that then rob them. [by leting them buy it ]

Unless it was like factory new inside and under, if its structor is anything like the outside. can the top bolts even come lose........

Re: Price check please

You guys sure are scared of a little rust! Guess I'm a fool.

It does really come down to how much more rot is there.

Maybe there are more of these in other parts of the world but they rarely show up around here.

Re: Price check please

Thanks for the input guys, I thought it might be a little overpriced but figured I'd check here first. I've only seen one other 2wd blazer for sale here and rarely do I see a gmc. Maybe I'll go take a look and see what shape the rest of it is in.
