Some good news and some bad news, I love my dessert first so I'll start off good.. My buddy got his grandpa's truck (his grandpa bought it new) a few weeks ago. He has no use for it and he only wants $400 for it.. So either today or tomorrow I'm running over to check it out.. Its a 1986 long bed c10 red in color with a 305 and supposedly less rust than my truck has.. Said it needs some break work and engine work.. Which is easy for the most part.. That being said my dad said before I could get that truck I have to sell the one I have now. So once I see the truck I'll make my decision. I'll post pics after I go look at it

you can buy new ones with trim for about $18 autozone or ebay. i got mine at my local autzone for $18 a piece looked and fit fine

I forgot that they did, O'rielly normally has smoked ones in stock too.

oh wait my bad it was o'reillys is were i got mine autozone might at your location though cause the one in my town doesnt but the town over does carry them, so yours might.

First time I've been on since I said I was going to look at that truck. Connections fell through and we didn't end up meeting up. But we have one scheduled for Saturday

Went and looked at the truck today, In great condition! Pretty much the only rust is behind the back wheels.. Hopefully I can snatch it up. Heres a few specs.

-305 v8
-Power breaks/steering
-AC
-Power doors
-Tilt Steering Wheel
-71,xxx original miles
-2 owners, family truck
-In amazing condition for its age and around here.
-Only $400
Only dent in the truck is on the drivers door, it was backed into. I'm in love with it! I'll post more pics later.

Got everything stripped down from my truck and finished the drop shackles. Got a guy on his way now to look at with $800 in his pocket I'll miss her but I won't Wish me luck!
