Re: Big block motor mounts and shells

Hmmm. Reeds72 said that he had gotten new mounts, implying that he was selling new mounts with the stands. But,,,,he sold mounts with no rubber inserts. Not a good thing

Re: Big block motor mounts and shells

You can get the new mounts for $15 each at the parts store, its common for them to be worn out, or you can buy the energy suspension pieces for $45 pair & sandwich them back in place of the originals.

I have not found the 72 mounts at Napa or Oreillys, only the 73 and up mounts which have a different mounting bolt pattern. I have seen posted where they will work by relocating the mounting holes in the frame brackets. Do you know where to relocate the holes in the frame brackets to use the 73 up mount if the original mounts are not available to install the Energy inserts?
