needing some advice
hey guys i'm needing some info from you guys with infinite knowledge i have found a 67 3/4 283 4speed truck with what looks like a saddle tank door and a spot light truck looks clean in the pic that was provided now my questions.
question 1: was the 283 factory? i had thought they stopped making the 283 prior to 67 question 2: would the saddle tank and spot light be factory? question 3: would 750 be a good deal on this truck depending on rust situation and overall condition? thans in advance for all the info guys |

a) I think the 283 is factory but I will let others verify my opinion b) Spot light would be a dealer option. Tank I am not sure. c) If the truck is fairly rust free... I would say yes. Pictures would be a big help. Others?

Re: needing some advice
The 283ci was produced from 1960 until late 1968. I would look for a SPID tag and hopefully it will show the dealer add-ons. $750 is a decent price if the truck is within you repair abilities. Hopefully for you the truck runs, otherwise I wouldnt give that much for it.
