The SPID is probably original. The St.Louis (S) plant used a crash printed VIN (as pictured) vs the type face seen on most others and in the body. Wouldn't worry about the wheelbase number as it is a very early build truck and they seem to have start up quirks every year. If the door plate looks good (original rivets) you are probably good to go.

The chrome window trim was part of the Z62 option. The chrome front bumper is not and would be listed as an option. The lower body molding would be an easy correction as would the wheels. The interior color would be more of a problem but you should be able to get material from SMS if the seat cover neeeds replacement. Here are two code 623 imterior pictures.


Depending on what you can actualy get the truck for it would probably make a nice driver as is bodywise. Remember though sitting is not a good thing and it may very well need brake work along with the steering issue corrections mentioned.
