Im using the original master cylinder with manual disc brakes and it works just fine

So do recapped tires--but I feel like new/virgin ones are MUCH safer? Same with dual-line m-c--it cuts the odds of bodily harm, when a wheel cylinder blows, to 1/2--which is pretty substantial when it's MY body that is at stake.

Twice as much safety is what I was harping about--not how well it works.
