Re: wtb: a few parts i still need

If I were you I would buy an original dash pad and have it recovered in black. I tried the aftermarket pads and they are not made to fit like the originals. I took the aftermarket one I had off my truck and found some nice pliable vinyl and recovered mine. It looks great and fits correctly.

I have a very nice original black pad i would sell. In fact I have had it for over 10 years thinking i would buy a truck that needed it. I think its very near perfect.

In your pictures, the door does not have the screw on the inside below the vent wing window so I would say it is 67-71 and made for the metal door panels instead of the plastic panels like the 72 would use.

Re: wtb: a few parts i still need

I am over in Sevierville and will be picking up a 72 tommorrow. I am robbing it of the suspension and a few other parts. I can let you know how the door looks by this weekend.

Re: wtb: a few parts i still need

I am replacing the suspension on my 69 with the 72 for the disk brakes and 5-lug. I will be ordered a bunch of ECE/CPP lowering parts, but really don't need anything stock as my 69 is really complete.

Re: wtb: a few parts i still need

I picked up the 72 today. Pass door is ok, has some rust at the lower corners but not on the bottom. I just don't know if its worth a 250 mile drive to come get it.

How much you need out of it? My fiancée has never been to Gatlinburg, I could make a weekend trip out of it.
