B/W T19 in front of an NP205

I thought I asked this question before, but searches don't show it. My '70 K10 burb has the 465/205 combo. Gotta hate that 465, especially with a mild small block. As cool as the NV4500 swap looks, don't see it happening. I once had a '76 Scout with a close ratio T19. It was the only thing good about that vehicle, drove just like a car instead of a dump truck. The Scout is intact in a junkyard 3 miles from my house. Seems like I researched installing the T19 in my burb before, but don't remember what, if anything I came up with. Any input? Thanks.

couple guys i know snow wheelers in town here are running t19's but in jeeps but with big hp engines 700hp+ seem to hold up quite good advance adapters will be your friend when it comes to mating that 205 to it dont know what exactly you will get but you should give them a call and see what they say!

Re: B/W T19 in front of an NP205

Keep the 465/205 combo. Get a Ranger Overdrive. Bolts in front of the 465, you get theoretically 16 forward gears and 3 reverse. You can split the gears between 2 and 3 plus the advantage of the overdrive.

www.advanceadapters.com

it is under auxillary gear boxes

Will look into the overdrive. Seems the T19 had some bellhousing issues with the chevy.
