Tranny and Driveshaft length ?'s

I have a 68 LWB with a 4 speed tranny (SM465?).

My question is, will any version of 350, 400, 200R or 700R, long or short tail shaft, bolt in place of the 4spd with no modifications to Drive shaft length?

I am assuming not, but thought I would ask, and maybe find out some good news....

every tranny you just named are all different lengths and have variations within each model for example there are 3 different length th350's. your going to have to get your driveshaft cut down

Thanks Cableguy0 that's what I thought. I was just hoping that I could get away with some combo of tranny driveshaft that would work.

Thanks for verifying that I can't.
