Erod install fuel system

I had a couple questions for you all on how to route my fuel system. First off I wanted to provide some basic facts. Its the 5.3L LC9 EROD ENGINE and have a link to the pdf. of the instuction manual here which includes just about every detail if i leave something out.:

I have been doing some research and actually found an example of an LS3 EROD engine install online:

Basing my own fuel system design on the one they used in that link, I went into Paint and saved it as an attachment in this post. I would be interested in your opinion as to whether or not you think it would work. Now if it did work then the following parts would be needed and considering most of yall have already completed something similar, I would be interested in your opinion on what brands to choose and if you have any part numbers:

- Out of Tank Fuel Pump= Needs to be a constant pressure of 400 KPA (60PSI) with the engine running. The fuel pump needs to have a minimum flowing capacity of 40GPH @400KPA

- Fuel Lines= I am debating whether metal lines or braided rubber lines would be better. And if it would make things easier I can actually order the lines that originally came on the truck from:

- MAF Sensor= The EROD engine doesnt come with an intake system and I would need to make one for this application. GM says the requirements needs to be the following: MAF sensor to be mounted in the middle of a minimum 6 inch length of 4 inch diameter tube, and is a minimum of 10 inches from the throttle body. I wanted to make it look stock and while searching the banks website I found an air induction system:

- Radiator= Apart from the fuel system I would also need a Radiator and coolant hoses. This 5.3L EROD engine is nearly identical to the engines in the 2007-2012 Siverado/Sierra. Would the stock radiator and hoses from those trucks work on this build?

- Serpentine System= I was looking everywhere for a LC9 serpentine system with the AC delete and this was the best I found, does anyone else know of anywhere better?

- LS Engine Starter= Is there any brands you would recommend? I was leaning more towards staying with GM/OEM parts but they tend to be higher in price.


Also I have a couple questions that many of you might be able to answer:

1) PCV System= I was reading up on the PCV system which is on the bottom of page 7 and top of page 8 in the installation manual. On these engines is the PCV system fully integrated on the engine? I couldnt figure out whether GM intended the customers to plumb this into the air intake system of the truck or if it was already incorporated in the air manifold.

2) Crankshaft Postioning System Variation Learn Procedure= I was lookin on page 9 of the instruction manual and I was a little confused on what this was all about. I was curious if any of you performed one on your engine when you installed it.

3) EVAP CANISTER= Based on your opinion of the schematic attached below, would the EVAP illustration be accurate?

I know I basically wrote a novel and asked plenty of questions but I would be interested in any feedback you can provide. This is my first ever build, I get my truck back from paint in 1 week, and I need to figure out this fuel system setup.

My only experiance on the evap system is all new Ford stuff but from what the intructions say it looks ok. I have a 76 c10 and plan to do an ls swap into it and will need a smog leagal set up. this instruction pdf is pretty good.

The only thing I didnt see was the use of a fuel tank pressure sensor.
