67 Steering Column vs 69-72

There seems to be a difference according to parts catalogs and ebay listings, etc.
I just need one that tilts. Can anyone give me the details as to why I cant buy a steering column for a 69-72 C10 and put it into my 67 C10?

Re: 67 Steering Column vs 69-72

You can. You just need to find the lower section to complete the column. The 69-72 columns are 2 piece and the 67-68 are 1. WES

Would said part be called a "STEERING SHAFT"?

Also, what should the proper length be? They show them as 28, 30, 32, and 33 inches?
