Leon, would you have a lock assembly for the glove box? And if I sent you a key would you be able to match it to my doors and ignition?

I don't have a good one at this time. If I did, yes I could match it to your doors & ignition.

Leon, I'm in the same boat as kcsa75 needing a glove box keyed lock set. Same question, if I can find a keyed glove box lock and provide you with a key already cut to my ignition and doors would you consider re-setting the glove box lock to my cut key?

Yes, I would do that. You used to see them quite a bit on e-Bay. Any GM glove box lock of that style will work, even back to the early '50's. Doesn't matter if it has a key with it or not, just make sure there are no dents or scratches on the stainless face or button and the lock bolt is not worn real bad (the part that sticks up out of the case).. I just have to modify the keyway, which I have to do anyway to key them like the ignition and doors for our trucks.

Re: Driver Quality Matched Lock Set

Leon, what is your opinion on the aftermarket locks, i.e. what I might get from LMC or Classic Parts?

I can't give you any recommendation on those as I've never had any of them. I might have to order a set to tear apart, just to see what they look like inside and how well they are put together...
