Steering box to frame torque spec?
hello there
im doing a crossover on my 1987 K3500 and im having trouble finding the torque spec for the 4 steering box bolts.. wasnt in my chiltons.. anybody know it or link me to a good torque spec chart for 73-87 thanks Lee |

i'm not sure about what they call for... whenever i do them i just make sure they're pretty tight.

I don't think it matters. Just tighten 'em up so they aren't going anywhere.

found this chart on another site
http://dodgeram.org/tech/specs/bolts/SAE_bolts.html it says there that an iron grade 8 7/16 Course is rated for 65ft lbs ive already torqued mine to 75ft lbs and im gonna leave it. L |

I use the German torque spec, goodentite
