Sold an Old Friend

I went over to a very good friend of mine this afternoon. He has sold his old 1 Ton Pick Up... Trusty. He bought a 2500 HD to replace it. This is a beautiful Truck and built like a Tank. It has a 1 Ton C/30 frame under it that he set up for 4WD. He shortened and plated it the frame. Dana 60's front and rear. HD 4 speed and a fresh GM crate motor. He ask to come over to his property and take some pics before he delivered it.

Re: Sold an Old Friend

I agree,he'll miss that one. He sure went about it the hard way, too, with starting with a 2wd with a longer frame. I guess he put the lighter 3/4t rear in to match the front ratio?

Re: Sold an Old Friend

The guy my buddy sold his truck is trying to flip it. He gave my buddy $9500 for it and is asking 14k. He actually has people interested in it. These old trucks do not seem to depreciate much!
