Interchangeability between 7.4 and 454??
Just curious, is there any way in hell a vortec top end would fit on a 454 bottom? What about just the intake for that matter? I wouldn't mind making my '78 injected at some point in time. I'm ditching my '03 ford pretty soon and 400km round trips are a ***** when your running at 10-12 gpm

I know the gen v's (90-95 round about) had trouble with head swap from mark 4's and gen vi's(vortecs). the vortecs and mark 4's I believe are intercangable. if you can, get the whole vortec. better oiling, roller cam.
