Re: My Quest for Hot Rod Power Tour, Take 2
ok so had to make me some wood spacers to work on the truck.
make mental note, when you lower a truck, you cant work on it. so i raised it. ![]() makes it much easier to get to stuff. well brakes are bled, steering shaft had to be adjusted to fit around exh manifold. wiring harness is on motor and cut hole in cab floor to bring it in and mount ecm under seat. stay tuned, weather is forcasting a foot of snow for us, so i will get more garage time. my wife don't allow me to work on snow days anymore. ![]()

Re: My Quest for Hot Rod Power Tour, Take 2
also called my tuner and gave him the heads up i would be ready soon.
he said he wants to show up when i can crank it and ready to go. sounded like a plan to me. i downloaded the HP tuner demo. i cant believe how easy it is to disable VATS, guess i was thinking it would be something hard. but its just a click of the mouse and its gone. and new radiator should be delivered by ups today.
