Leafs to Coils
I have one of each 1969 C-20's and been thinking about the ride of the coil, as a kid and never had any problems with the cab over and hauling a traval trailer. So what all is involved in switching the leaf spring out and puting in the coils andthe trialing arms, etc....? THANKS

Re: Leafs to Coils
It is not as complicated as you think. There are only 12 holes you need to drill to install the shock cross member and everything else bolts in with the removal of a few rivets.
Here are some threads for reference. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=501676&page=3 starting on post 70 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=444746 starting on post 9 I assume, because it is a c20, you have a lwb and that means you should have the cross member the arms mount to already because it is also used to mount the carrier bearing on a 2 piece drive shaft. All you need is to collect springs, trailing arms, shock cross member, panhard bar, axle saddles, u bolts and shock mounts. Here is a photo for you to reference on the upper shock cross member location. If you have any specific questions shoot me a PM.
