Saw another short bed tonight
Drove my Chevy over to Home Depot to get a couple of keys cut this afternoon. On the way back I turned a corner and saw a brown/primer shortbed in the parking lot of the Wawa (convenience store for those not from my area). Just had to pull in and talk to the guy. His is a '69 custom, 6 cylinder auto. Decent cab, decent bedsides, bed floor is gone and rockers are gone. Talked for a few and compared notes.
1st time I've seen another 67-72 on the road, let alone a short bed, since buying my truck over 2 months ago.

Maybe you could post up an invitation on the forum for guys from your area to get together? There might be more around than you think, and you could have a great time together, like we did at our get together on Saturday Posted via Mobile Device |

I have and OCD type issue with projects......I have to get them done and right now. All of my free time and money are being poured into the truck.

I know there is a teal truck with a 90's stepside bed on that I used to see around, but haven't seen him since the summer. Winter salt and whatnot many people keep there classics in the garage until summer, so I'm sure that plays a factor.
