I can relate your frustration but maybe you could do a video with your "noise" too help us understand what your dealing with engines can make all kinds of sounds when you dont want them too

You know it's funny that you mention this. When this happened the first time, I secured my IPhone in the engine compartment in order to get audio of the noise. I sent the audio by email to URE telling them at what point in time to listen for the noise. I will see if I can find it and attach it here.
