Free behind the seat gas tank!!!! Small catch though...
Hey all!!! I put a tank under my bed and have the original tank to give away!!! One condition, I need a neck off of another one so I can leave the gas fill and cap on the side if the cab. I don't want to fill it in yet (I can't afford to paint the truck). I can only do this locally, I can't really ship it right now. And I want to get rid of it soon. I live in California on Camp Pendleton. I'm not adverse to driving up to L.A., but a little gas money would be nice. The tank does not leak as far as I know, and it looks like it might be a fairly new tank, it is still metal looking, with no paint or rust on it. I will pull it and take pictures tomorrow. Any takers????
Thanks, Shawn

You might as well throw it away. Many before you have tried giving them away with no luck.

Tank Cap
I took my tank out almost 3 years ago and still haven't filled the hole yet, waiting on the next time I have it painted.
I took a 80's model cap that is made out of plastic and drilled two holes in it and tie wraped it to the inside of the cab. I left the rubber o-ring in place to keep the water out. It hasn't leaked yet.
