Almost Bought Another 72 /Is There A Cure For Truck Fever ?

A friend of mine called me today and told me about a 72 Ocher/white top 72 that he wanted but could not afford so he thought I might want it .I went and looked at it and almost bought it but just dont have room. I have a rule ,they cant sit outside to keep my wife happy and my shop is full. Original paint longbed with the usual rust ,41,000 miles ,350/3 on the tree , good bed and tailgate .Wood clean up and be a great driver but I decided to spend the money on my wifes T/A instead .Dang hard to pass it by .

Re: Almost Bought Another 72 /Is There A Cure For Truck Fever ?

The only cure ends in an estate sale. I buy and sell for a living Well I buy them wrecked and bring them home and rebuild them then resale them, while it is fun I often say if it werent for money I'd have fun every day. You see I live in a small farming community adepressed area of the state and trucks will often bring as much as 2 to 3 thousand dollars less here than they would over in the central parts [ Little Rock] That puts me at a disadvantage to begin with from the beginning. I may buy up a transport load one day and have no place to put them and woder what to do and the next thing I know I am looking at the next sales list trying to pick out what ones I would want and a plan for them. Like I said the only cure involves an estate sale. Jim
