I just built my wife a victory red 09 impala to drive. - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I picked it up at copart it is victory red, 09 49k miles. hit in the front. i took the front cap and air bags off of another impala that was punched in the side.

this car had the plastic wheel covers and no spoiler.

I pulled the front cap and left air bag off of this car and put on the red car. the parts fit perfect. nothing works like factory GM parts.

I had the air bag module reset, put in 2 good used seat belts from another 09 impala. put on the front cap a little bit of paint. the drivers side air bag from the donor car and a brand new ebay spoiler and took the alloy wheels off of the donor car. it is ready to go get the windows tinted and the a/c charged. it turned out great.

it did turn out nice, Im sure your wife will be most pleased. does it have a salvage title now or were you able to fix that also?

i just got the windows tinted. it turned out great. it is salvage title. in arkansas when you buy a salvage title car you must fill out a affadavit of recontruction and write down what you did to the car and give the state the vin numbers of the parts that you used and then get a vin verifaction from the police department. then the state then issues a rebuilt title. that title will always stay with the car. we dont care she will drive it along time. she is driving a impala now that she has had for 7 years.

thanks she got to drive it home yesterday for the first time. we are trying to figure out all of the buttons now.

yes she really likes it. she drove a 2000 model for almost 7 years now. she thinks that this 09 model is a new one. i drove it saturday i like it too.
