New guy, (probably) old questions on 58 GMC 3/4 ton

Hi everyone.

My name is Joe, and I've had this 58 3/4 ton for a couple of years now, and I've got the bug to get it back on the road.
The plan is to make ita dually wwith a flat bed. I've got the rear end and wheels from a 1 ton 79 Chevy and I'd like to do the disc brake conversion to it. Problem is converting the front axle to disc. I've been lurking the site for a long time and I'm not getting anywhere with it. Only condition is that it has to stay 8 lug, and I'll be using a firewall mounted booster and MC.

Any help you can give would be great.

Thanks, Joe

Found the information I needed 64 pages in, but I am wondering if anyone has tried to source bearing conversions locally instead of the Internet. If so, part #?
