Transmission Fluid Leak

I asked this question on the 67-72 board, but I thought I'd ask it again here in case someone with a newer truck has some experience with it.

My '76 has a TH350. After putting in a new engine, I noticed a pretty steady transmission fluid leak. I checked and it seemed to be coming out of the tail housing where the yoke enters the transmission. After almost killing myself (literally - its a long story) installing a rear transmission seal, the leak is still there.

It leaks worst when the truck is pointing up hill, Which is why I always back onto my sloped driveway. I've been told that it could be the speedo o rings, but they look OK. It still looks like its dripping from the back end of the tranny.

'94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm.
'79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.
'76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod.

'59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said.

Talking

Thanks for the link. The advice is EXACTLY what I needed. Now I'll just have to get over my truck-rolled-off-the-ramps phobia and get to work.
