1969 Grill swap
Has anyone changed a 1969 grill to a 1968 grill? Is there anything special about the change? I just purchased a 1969 C10 and like the 68 grill style. Looks like a straight forward change. Thanks for the help

Re: 1969 Grill swap
To switch 69-68 you would need tl buy a whole front clip. Includes new fenders, hood, grille, and probably core support.

Re: 1969 Grill swap
You have to change the fenders to a 67/68 or fill up the space where the crome went. Mine had 69 fenders so I had to change the fenders. My fenders was no good anyway. The person before me just filled up the space on both side of the lights with bondo about 1 1/2 inch. That is too much bondo. I am lonely telling you what i have come opon. The core support is different and the inter grill is different. The hood is also diffeent. The 69 has a flat nose and the 68 has a slant to it. sounds like a lot but it can be done. if you can find a front clip off of a 67 /68 you would be better off.
