Re: Billet Pulley Systems
BS has a system that will work great with the vintage Air system and for only $750. your only problem is that most if almost all of them are going to be polished aluminum. You can go have them powder coated if you want it in black. Call and talk directly to BS and they can walk you through what you need.

Re: Billet Pulley Systems
Go to Summit and search for March Pulleys.
They offer a series in powdered black. As I recall they weren't priced too excessively. Might need to piece it together or call March for compatability. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Billet Pulley Systems
Not sure what kind of 'help' or info you're looking for regarding billet pulleys/serpentine systems but I just installed a March Performance Style track on my BB.
I have a short water pump, remote res style P/S, A/C so I got the full monty set. As Leftlane mentioned, I believe you can get any of their systems in clear powdercoat or in black. So far I'm very pleased with everything. Very simple and straight forward installation, cleaned up and modernized my engine bay nicely and it is supposed to have some performance benefits(although I'm not sure it'll make a 10-15hp difference as it claims). Maybe on the butt dyno...? Lol. |

Re: Billet Pulley Systems
I don't want to put down what others have done or like, because I'm not, but I personally think the Vintage Air Front Runner system is the absolute best looking system on the market. It's not the cheapest, though.
As for the Bilet Specilaties, V-trac system in black, call them and see if they will have it anodized for you. I've heard they are great for working with folks on stuff like that. Is there any particular reason you want to stay with the v-belt system compared to a serpentine system?

Re: Billet Pulley Systems
I put the Eddie Motor Sports on. I liked the way the alt. and compressor were positioned.

Re: Billet Pulley Systems
I have two march systems on trucks and one billet spec. on one. I do not like the march as much. The ones I have do not have a ideler tensioner on them. They will not stay tight. Belt will start to make noise after a while. The other one has a tensioner and never has to be tightened.
