You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill,
and I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe de Ville.

Re: Who has them (trailers)

A complete truck weighs about 4000lbs, most of that is cab forward. My guess would be about 800-1000lbs as pictured.

I did that very thing with an old 54 model truck frame and bed , works good . I like the grille swap , How do you like the way the headlights work over the original headlights

My 78 heavy half RCSB with 350/700R4/12 bolt was 3600 empty last time I went with some scrap. So without me and some of the junk I had in the cab I'm figuring it is right at 3300.

My '98 was 5300 empty though...

Ive seen so many different weights fron 3500-4300lbs I figured 4000lbs was a decent guesstament. LOL
Still most of that in the front.
Bed 300-400lbs
frame and suspension 300-400lbs
rear end 200+lbs?
400+400+200=1000lbs? Thats what Im guessing the trailer weighs.

Ya my truck also has no carpet or insulation an a good but of rust. I was thinking it was light when the weight came up.

Im thinking your probably pretty close at 1000

Try 5,350 lbs.

That's what my 79 1 ton single axle weighs without anyone in it and both tanks 1/2 full.
