Why am I so easily tempted? (cool fire truck)
I already have a project truck going, I have no garage space, and I have absolutely no use for it, but I can still hear one half of my brain desperately trying to convince the other half to go look at it. Why does this happen?? I know I'm not the only one. Sooooo cool; thought I'd share.

I know - Today I saw a 1 1/2 ton tow truck for sale. My wife would kill me & bury me in the truck in the back yard if I brought it home

Re: Why am I so easily tempted? (cool fire truck)
Hey Torch, it's a completely normal reaction to have. We ALL do that. I told my wife before, "It's a good thing we don't have a few acres, we would have a bunch of projects laying around." Not that I need it either but that firetruck would be great to have.
Coach, now on the other hand, that burb would be welcome at my house weather my wife liked her or not. I have always wanted one of those.

Hey, Torchlight - you're not crazy at all. Our pals at the MN Fire Engine Club may have storage for you (I used to belong to the club with my '59 ALF-pictured here in the Burnsville fire muster parade), most guys are southside MSP area (like you), too. Now I just play with my '57 Chev 3200. Call or email them... Tim Ross is the best and most helpful about the Club if you're serious. -Doug

Re: Why am I so easily tempted? (cool fire truck)
I think I'd have to pass on that one as far as it being a cool enough fire truck to want to restore. For me it would have to have been a real firetruck with a firetruck body on it that I could restore and run in parades or show.
There was a Mac fire truck that sold at an auction last year that I really wanted but didn't have the cash to buy. Hopefully the guy who bought it at the auction restores it and doesn't pull the fire truck body off or worse.
