Re: 67 frame stands

Are you talking about engine mounts stands? Didn't think there was any difference just the position closest to the firewall to clear the engine cradle and transfer case.

Re: 67 frame stands

This is a later Blazer setup, just can't remember if it is an I-6 or V-8. The assembly is often available used in the classified section. There are also aftermarket replacement mounts/crossmembers too. Generally those will also have a removable center section.

Re: 67 frame stands

My mounts and crossmember are identical to that but before the motor mounts sit flush the oil pan wants to hit the crossmember.

Re: 67 frame stands

Do you have the correct upper mounts and are they in good condition? If they sag the motor can touch, at least a 68 V6 K2500 GMC I knew did.
Do you have the correct oil pan?

Need to do some digging and get back to this. When it comes to square body crossover I'm lost.

Re: 67 frame stands

I am lost right now to I have done plenty of square motor swaps but this is my first 67-72 swap do you know or have any pics of oil pans they ran with the 4x4 small blocks? Or if they even varied I have no clue.
