Fuse box blues.

What have most of you done with the original fuse box?

I see one for about $200 (just the 12 circuit box) at LMC and the EZ wiring harness comes with one for $175.

Can you buy the metal fuse holders anywhere to replace rusted ones in the original box?? It appears to be riveted together at the buss bar. Anyone gone this route?

GMC seems to be slightly different than the Chevy of the same year.

Thanks

Re: Fuse box blues.

The cheap EZ wire 12 circuit does not allow for any additional circuits to add later, and frankly I was not very happy with the quality. I have installed 2 that customers pre-purchased. The bigger 18 or 21 circuit is a better deal from them and not much more money.
JMO opinion- cheapest isn't always the best plan.
