Thoughts on slamming/bagging C20
I've been toying with the idea of slamming or bagging my c20. I've just purchased a 4l80e and had it rebuilt and already bought the tps kit, the standalone computer and the cable x kit which converts the cabe speedo to electronic.
WHat Im trying to say is the truck is already heavy duty but will be set up with overdrive now. I wanted the overdrive without the weak 700r which is why i went 4l80. I dont tow much tho, only a pontoon boat. How much would parts cost to bag this truck? What about a static drop? cut coils, remove leafs ad flip axle? Yall think it would look good? Id roll the steelies and dog dishes prolly...im always much happier in a lowered truck

Not sure what it is but I love that truck, put the stock grille back in and bag it!!! dont change a thing. If you dont have a ton of motor or need to lay frame I would do an air over leaf rear, its cheap and does what it needs to. Check out the suspension forum and you will find a ton of info about front and air management setups. Keep the steel wheels and bag it!!!!

I'm going to say keep it stock height. As a nice C20, it just looks right with that factory stance. Nice ride.

I would get a decent torque converter for the 4L80 with a nice 2200 rpm stall. The stocker in a truck as light as yours will lug a bit to much because its trying to fluid lock up earlier then what you'll want.
