IMO, this truck was originally ordered with the 4.56 ratio when new. This is the reason for the overdrive was installed by either the 2nd, 3rd or 4th owner, who probably also swapped out the 327 and 4 speed with the 350/T400. The original owner must have wanted the leaf springs really bad to special order them on this '67. Suprised he just didn't buy a GMC.
