I'm having some problems choosing a color though, i want something that will catch the eye as it drives by. i was thinking synergy green from the new camaros? do you guys think it would look good? any other suggestions on color? any opinions are helpful!

Are factory colors not an option? Two tone?

Rhinoliner.

lol.

The green is kind of cool but I'm always a fan of big bright orange. Maybe a red metal flake?

Re: help me choose a color!

The green look real similar to the way it is on the Camaro. They have similar lines. But I think two tone with a white center would be ideal for that color.

Re: help me choose a color!

In my opinion, a classic truck, blazer, etc. with nice original paint is eye catching. If you really want a louder color, orange is my vote.

Re: help me choose a color!

I would like to go back to the old two tone paint, the only issue I have with doing that is that I don't have a lot of cash and I would have to buy all the OEM trim pieces for it to have that classic cool look. For now I just want to do one solid colour. The synergy green is a three part candy paint... Seems expensive and a lot of work. I'm liking the idea of orange though, what kinds of orange should I look into?

Cory Scott's old 85 silverado. It's been long sold, but it was painted original GM tangier orange.

Re: help me choose a color!

If you like orange you might like sunset orange metallic. I have always thought it would look good on one of these squares.

Re: help me choose a color!

how about atomic orange- it's on the c6 corvettes, and it's not a three stage. might be a nice modern spin on the original type color...

Re: help me choose a color!

my dad and i do a little body work in the summer for some extra cash, and i would have to say at least every second car we paint is red. to me red just doesn't have that edge im looking for.
some kind of pearl orange would look good to, has anyone ever seen a square with a pearl orange on it?
