What would this have come off of? Found it in the woods

Hey guys, the other day I stumbled across this in a small wooded area, it looks to me someone cut the frame and turned it into a trailer? You guys know what this wouldve gone on? Also a few yards from this theres a old 76 camper that wouldve gone in a pickup. So im guessin this was off a truck around the mid to late 70s? I just want to know what it came off of? Weird how people just leave good things to go to waste...

It's not off of anything in particular. Just a utility box that was made to fit multiple trucks.

These are made by companies to replace factory beds of for can & chassis. You can tel by the frame it was a '73 or newer GM truck. These beds had some difference for mounting the different trucks. So,you know this is a bolt-on to a GM with single tank. Looks like it had one 8.25 x 16.5 wheel.

I found a spotlight and a nice headlight inside.

Looks like you got a vintage hubcap on there too.
