I have a 63 GMC 1500 2wd. I'm looking an original rear step bumper for it. It can have surface rust, but I want it to be solid. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Re: wanted: rear step bumper

I have the rear bumper off my 66 step somewhere, I'd have to look at the condition. Do you mean the bumper off a stepside, or the bumper they made that had a little work step built into it.

Re: wanted: rear step bumper

Either a fleet or a step bumper might be cost prohibitive on shipping.

Re: wanted: rear step bumper

I should have added, my truck is a fleetside. So I'm looking for a step bumper.

Re: wanted: rear step bumper

short or long bed? The sides bolt to the rear of the fender in a shortbed and they are shorter on the sides than a longbed. I owned the Grey Goose and if you look at the pics of the original step bumper you'll see it,,,its a shortbed.
