Factory bucket mounting
First things first, I did do a search but I couldn't find anything to help me out much, either a link or pictures, maybe even dimensions or where to find the mounting brackets would be extremely helpful.
My brother recently scored factory bucket seats and center console out of a 70s,I believe, square body, he says they're factory pickup seats and not suburban (is there even a difference? He knows a good deal more about square bodies than I do, so I'm taking his word for it). Anyways the question is, Where can I get the brackets to mount these to my 79, or can someone provide me with pictures, and even more helpful, dimensions on the factory mounts. I ONLY have the seats and center console, the seats do have the slider attached to them. Pictures will be uploaded shortly so bear with me (I'm taking a quick break from house work) edit: pictures!

Re: Factory bucket mounting
You'll most likely have to make you're own brackets, unless you find a set at a yard. They'll have to be cut out of the floor as they are welded in by the factory.
I don't have any dimensions for you, but they should be pretty easy to fab out of some flat stock.

Re: Factory bucket mounting
YES! That is perfect! Thank you very much, I'll be printing out the template that's on there, and begin fabricating the mounts, and pickup some grade 8 hardware. But first I'll need to reupholster these seats to a black fabric, and paint this here console.

Re: Factory bucket mounting
I have a stack of OEM brackets that I've cut out of suburbans and crews. The thin blade always goes with me to the junk yard. Not to hijack, but I'm also working on modifying the suburban seat tracks to work in pickups since the pickup tracks are so rare.
