If they mated....

Ever see Conan O'brien's "If they Mated" segment? Well, this is what you get when you cross an '88-98 Chevy stepside truck with a '47-54. Saw this at a big show in Myrtle Beach over this past weekend:

Re: If they mated....

Wow. Not a fan. Head on view isn't too bad, but I just don't like the way it looks. The later body styles are so much more square.

That said, holy cow I bet that was a ton of work and as far as quality goes it looks AWESOME! Someone really cared about making that look clean and it shows.

Re: If they mated....

I don't mind anything but the grill, doesn't fit with the rest of the truck.
Good fab skills and imagination, though.

Re: If they mated....

Someone put a lot of hard work into making that thing look that bad. It would look just a tad bit better if the grille and bumper were at least color matched. The work and attention to detail really is incredible. They did a good job of integrating the new wheel arches up front and extending the rockers to flow into the bed. Heck, they even added a bit of the lower bodyline on the backside of the front fenders. It may not look good, but you seriously have to admire the quality of the work.

Re: If they mated....

There is some amazing fab work into that truck but I'm speechless on my thoughts. The truck should be named "Hammerhead".
