Sliding rear window

I work at a wrecking yard and we just sat a 69 C10 with one. My 71 K10 has one that's still in good shape. I looked and heard that those are hard to find. Should I pick it up? I get a 50% discount on all parts.

Re: Sliding rear window

It's definitely worth saving if it's in good shape.

Where is this wrecking yard? Can I go there and buy parts?

I will be in the area (Portland) next week and I am there about once every 6 weeks. I own a 72 in Michigan and a 64 in Oregon and always looking for parts. Nothing specific.

Yes, if it is a factory slider in good shape, get it while you can.

Thank you

I work at the pick n pull on foster. Yes you can come here and buy parts. You can't however use my discount as I'm not risking getting fired.

I'll give it a closer look after I clock out today. But, the slider looks like it's in decent shape (about as good as mine is now). I just thought I should grab it while I could and keep it for spare parts.

If that's the case. Then mine is original. Because mine is aluminum colored just like yours.

If it is aftermarket and not oem is it worth buying for parts or is it not worth my time?
