Cool If it ain't broke, should I change >details

Ok, quick question does it make sense to change head/intake gaskets without them failing? I ask because I've had the truck for many years and haven't messed with it, always used antifreeze, but after the burb head or intake gaskets blowing I am scared of this happening to my truck.

How hard is this to tackle for a novice?

Many thanks.

No reason whatsoever to mess with them. Keep good coolant in the system and don't overheat the engine and the intake and head gaskets should last the full lifespan of the engine.

Fully agree, only reason to mess with them is if they are leaking or you are upgrading components such as intake or heads.
