need help with tire look/fitment
Ok I purchased new wheels for my Blazer 18X10s and I lined up some good used tires on CL that are 375/50/R18s bajas with about 80% tread left, I talked the guy down to $500 for the set and I'm happy with the price. the problem is when I went to a conversion site it said the tires would be 36"X14.5" and I have 35"X12.5"s now. so I'm scheduled to pick them up tomorrow but I found out from the tire site that these are 33"X15.5" so wanted your HELPFULL opinions if this would still look good on my Blazer or am I really going to miss the extra 2" of tire height? I don't really want to flake out on the guy but I don't want to spend $500 on something I'm going to have to turn around and sell either. My friend says just cancel the sale but I feel obligated I hate flakes and don't want to be thought as one.

Re: need help with tire look/fitment
Keep in mind that not all 35's are 35" tall. The actual height varies from brand to brand so you may want to look up the manufacturers specs on both your current and any new tires you are looking at.

Re: need help with tire look/fitment
I caved and ordered the tires I wanted from the begining but didn't want to pay the big dollar tag that came with them. Thumbs up for America's tire company they price matched the wheels I found online for a great price and then they gave me a good deal on Nitto Mud grapplers they matched the best price I found online and threw in the mounting and balancing for free. This is a savings of over $600 from the price I was quoted from Les Schwab.
