Headers for a bagged 66.... (I searched... I promise!!!!)

Ok, before I get flamed for this, yes, I have searched the board high and low.

Here we go! I have a bagged 66 SWB with a small block. I'm not dragging the ground with this truck. Its bagged with drop spindles and c-notch'ed, with about an inch or two clearance from the bottom of the front crossmember to the concrete. I would like to keep the exhaust tucked above the bottoms of the frame rails if I can. I also have a TH400 in the truck, so no linkage interference "should" exist (correct me if I'm wrong).

Does anybody have a part number for some headers and pics of what I am searching for?

Many thanks to y'all!!!

I'm running a dropmember with bags and used the patriot clipster ceramic headers mid length for a Chevy Smallblock.. Think I got them from summit racing good quality fit well with no interference

What brand motor perch are you using,I have had concerns with this brand header using a factory perch.

Thanks in advance

In your opinion do you see any problems at eye shot using a stock motor mount with your headers ?

Thanks,
Ed

No I wouldn't think so seems like plenty of room even with stock mounts... Not sure if anyone has tried them

Re: Headers for a bagged 66.... (I searched... I promise!!!!)

I'm using the same headers on my truck, good clearance with the framerails and plenty of room to run a steering shaft with 2 knuckles.

Thanks for the input.Just bought the set today but I was told by the seller the front pipe both sides hit the stock engine perch's....., What are you running for engine mounts ?Cant see em in your pics.
Hope I wont need different ones.

Cheers,
Ed

I have an aftermarket crossmember with its own motormounts. I can see where the stock mounts might interfere. Never thought about that.
