New Rotor's
While I have been working on the truck I decided to buy new rotor's they should be here this week some time so I took the drivers side off first. Going to do one side at a time so I can't screw it up I hope.
Loosened the 5 lugnuts up then jacked the truck up and put a stand under it. Safety first and always never trust a jack...peroid! Took the wheel off then took the hub cap off to get the cotter key out. Took the calipor off next and set on the A-arm. Then took the cassel nut off and slip the rotor off. I decided to cleanup everything real good to and now just waiting on the rotors to show up. I think the rear seal was gone also there seems to be some of it left on the dust sheild which I took it off also to clean good. Got all new bearings and seals yesterday from O-Reilly's. Plain is to paint some to while under there.

Re: New Rotor's
I would have guessed that you had drop spindles on your truck.
This would be a good time to add them.

Re: New Rotor's
That wasn't seal remnants behind your dust shield. That was the rubber gasket for the dust shield. You grease seal is still in the rotor there.

Re: New Rotor's
Could you have turned the ones you have or are they too worn?

Re: New Rotor's
Nothing is wrong with them just dressing the front up a little. I have been wanting to do this for awhile. Got a set of these coming.
